… on Saturday. I’m not sure about the final count, but I bet about 3,000 people heard the Gov speak at some point yesterday. I worked as an ice cream scooper at an ice cream social/house party in the GOP stronghold of Bedford (still got 300 in attendance).
While we were scooping we noticed one guy kept coming back for more ice cream. By the end of the day he had eaten ten bowls! And (1) he wasn’t large at all, and (2) this was not low-fat ice cream. By our calculations, he had 560% of his daily dose of saturated fat in that two-hour period. yuck.
Other funny story, one of my colleagues that works out of Keene was trying to find her way to the Manch office last night. She got very lost and called the office, so I tried to MapQuest her in. Well, I had trouble finding her location on MQ cuz she ended up in a neighboring town. The struggle continued as she told me she was going the opposite way from the direction she was actually moving. Thus, she ended up in a third town. At long last I guided her into the parking lot and hung up. Mistake. Five minutes later we got antoher call from her trying to find the door to the office…oy vey.
