On the car ride to Seabiscuit I had an interesting experience with a coworker. She inquired if I was seeing anyone and proceeded to pitch a friend of hers, Audrey, as someone I might be interested in. Audrey lives in Cambridge, Mass and writes for a publishing company. She’s Jewish, although that’s not a requirement for me (or Audrey apparently). I tell my coworker that I normally date dorks/nerds (see prev. post), and subsequently inquire where Audrey went to school?–>Penn. (Sounds good.) When did she graduate?–>1997. Whoa. Not to be ageist, or anything, but I was still in HS in ’97.
My coworker thought I was 29. (For the reocrd, I’m 22.) Must be the ties I wear…

Well, to be fair… you’re pretty close to 23 now. And you’re totally being ageist. Did you find out anything else about her? Or is 29 a deal-breaker?

    1) Yes, I did find out more about her. (I try to take “brevity is the soul of wit” to heart when blogging.)
    2) I’m not opposed to meeting her, but from what I’ve heard, it doesn’t sound too promising. Of course, you can never be certain until you’ve met.
    3) True, I guess I am being ageist, but I’m also sexist when I pick whom to date.
