Yom Kippur

When I last wrote, I was healthy and excited about the end of the quarter. While I’m not fully recovered yet, I need to highlight the events of the past few days:
First, THANK YOU to anyone who contributed to my bat. I started with a goal of $400 and raised four times that! The Dean campaign as a whole raised $5.1 million in 10 days. Thank you!
On Wednesday, I got to go see the Women’s World Cup game: U.S. vs. Norway. Eight of us from the campaign got box seats thanks to some connections. We won, 1-0, on a great goal by Abby Wambach.
I was feeling a little sick watching the game, but being out in the cold had adverse effects on my health. So I slept in Thursday morning, and got in just in time to see Joe Trippi giving a pep talk! Pretty cool.
Tonight is Yom Kippur. So if I’ve harmed or sinned against you in any way over the past year, please forgive me.
and here’s a special link for Jane and fellow cookie lovers.
