Wow! What an incredible week so far! First, a poll comes out that says we’re leading in Iowa. Check out labor households and “definite” caucus-goers. Then, we’re on the covers of *both* Time and Newsweek! The articles in both news-weeklies are long, and great press. Although, there didn’t seem to be any Time magazines available in stores in the Manch area…either everyone loves Dean’s face or another campaign bought them all before the voters could read them.
Today, there was meetup–over 79,000 people have signed-up. Join them! A handicapped woman in a wheelchair couldn’t get up the one step to the restaurant we were meeting up in. So, Tom and I sprang into action and found a wooden plank to serve as a ramp behind a Quikie Mart (or equivalent). People-powered Howard, baby!
All this, plus Larry King Live, the Today Show and Inside Politics, have led pundits to start throwing around the “f” word–front-runner.
Also, I haven’t been blogging this week since I had to do the huge database conversion. But now we’re into the mopping up efforts, and people are happy with the results. And, I’m going to leave work befor midnight tonight!
P.S. Thanks for the comments :) Keep ’em coming.
